stop changing the rules lol, 1v1 should not be random at all, it should not even be in the tournament tbh and if you dont stop changing rules when they whisper something in your ears you can consider me out
1v1 is always going to be unfair with a random decider Cena by your logic.
edit; as well as the 2v2 and TG stage.
Yeah, but try getting 2 clans to agree on a decider lol. There is an element of unfairness, but at least keeping it to the decider minimizes it and stops clans arguing over what the decider is.
I personally would think it would be cool if the decider was 'randomly' decided a couple of days before and then the clan could prepare for it/choose a player for it, but I don't expect that to happen (this was actually beaus idea). I am strongly against all the games being random, but i wont go into why for the 3rd time I guess it's down to the community and whichever option more people are in support of, but it is quite annoying when you can't stop changing the rules frankie.

Well I'm not a fan of 1v1 being involved at all in a TG event. Kind of lazy copying the RM format where 1v1 works better.
I would think ideally 3 standard maps for 1v1 would work; however, getting 8 clans to agree on 3 maps is not simply possible.
Much better ways Army1 can tally feedback than the **** fight that is this and every other TIW related topic. At least he's trying, even if he's a git.

Yup, i guess it will ultimately be down to what he decides/feedback he gets.
But yeah, 1v1 is kinda ****e here but w/e, chances of it being removed are probably slim to none.
Of course the 1v1 section will remain its just a case of can we get an overall majority on how to do it from the semi final onwards.
No matter which section we have random involved there is always going to be luck factor involved on who the map favours. However it is without doubt to determine who wins a set overall in a decider. Having 3 random games does bring the luck factor down and it may be even more important to use a veto in this section.
Personally i wouldve prefered to have the 1v1 section bo5, with 1 map pick each and 3 random rounds come the semi final. I actually think this method is a happy medium over whether to have all 1v1 games as random or to have 1 home pick each and 1 random especially as it seems quite divided on which way to go. However the majority seem more in favour of either making the 1v1 and 2v2 section either worth more points or just having it bo3.
With that said there are alot of very valid points and pros and cons mentioned to having either all random or 1 home pick each and 1 random. I will gather more feedback and speak to others when i see them on the client because it seems quite split which way to do it judging from what ive read here

I'm ok with making it bo5, but I think the arguments against it are very valid, it just doesn't bother me.
As for removing the 1v1 section, would you not even consider it? Because if you look back through the last few pages, many people think that the 1v1 section actually has no place in the tournie, so if you're gonna keep ****ing with the rules then surely this is also worth considering?
Fair enough, although I believe the rules should have been published before the tournament started, I understand you're doing your best and it's a lot for one person to do. Do you know when the rules will be set in stone or have a rough idea?
Taking the 1v1 section out would do no good. This tournament is to decide the best overall CS Clan. Not the best CBA players, not the best Blood players, not the best 1v1 players, not the best TG players. And having good 1v1 players inside a Clan adds just as much to a overall clans strength as good TG players do. Just how I see it.

Once Group stage starts, the Qualifying stages are played with the TIW 2015 rules/maps with rough edits to the settings. So it should not be a problem to get the rules written down during the 3 week period.
Well ive got most of it typed up and have done for a while but because the rules are changed slightly from the 2015 set up and that the qualifiers where using the 2015 set up i didnt want to confuse anyone. All im doing is tying up a few loose ends but its ready to go once the qualifiers finish. It is mostly the same though in truth, I will post it up once we finish the qualifiers
