A good idea for TIW 2 is also that that not all games/finals should be played on 1 day when scheduling. The 1x1 could be played on a different day and also the 2x2 if possible. This will keep players focused.
No one wants to sit 7/8 hours straight behind his pc.
Come the semi final stage going on the fact it will be bo5 for 1v1 and 2v2, what do you think of making say the 1v1 section even 1 home map each and 3 random games? As before it will require at least 3 different players but also the max any one player can play is 2 games.

Yeah as before the option is there for clans to schedule their games on different days so that they dont have to play them all on one single sitting. The deadline will only be there that games have to be played after the 2 week window to schedule if players cant reach an accommodation with regards when they would like to play. It will be up to the players on that regards to schedule in such way to avoid that happening on deadline day
3 consecutive 1v1s for 1 point is going to save time and use 3 players at same time. I don't understand why you wouldn't want to make savings in time where practical.
Im open to them being at the same time tbh, was just thinking it would be harder to stream all the games. We tried to get some games played at the same time for 2015 and when we did players wanted to watch their clan mate play
One thing i really need to address now is regarding map picks. As im sure alot will remember we changed it so map picks didnt have to be given until the day of the games (1 hour before). This was changed because some didnt know who would be turning up and im sure this will be the same again in some cases. What happened was both would send me their picks and i would post them together and from that, vetos took place along with changes in map picks. Now as ive already mentioned i wont be able to be there for all of the games like before though i will try to be at as many as possible.
I have already spoken with nhoobish who will also help with this also, i dont want to speak for anyone else but i would appreciate more help with this. As in individuals who will be there to sort this out and to help take the map picks and deal with the veto process and any disputes that may arise. Possible people who can help could perhaps be dave and barry but once again they can let me know because i dont want to speak for them or for that matter who else would like to help with this. I feel we need a team of people to make sure at least one is there when games is played so that people know who to turn to for sorting maps and vetos out
As for the picks, I think once they're posted they should be subject to no changes apart from changing veto'd picks, say 4-5 days before the games are due to be played (and you should ONLY be able to change veto'd picks, not shuffle your entire map list around), gives people a little time to practice for higher quality games, and ensure the correct players for the maps are on. That's my 2 cents, I thought the whole swapping map picks around minutes before playing and the veto shuffle game was beyond ****ed last TIW.

And for the 1v1s and 2v2, no one want spend some hours if is just 1 point each.
As for 2v2 can be bo3 as well I suppose... if I remember right army said those could be changed to bo5 for the semi finals & finals though.
