Ok guys the changes to TIW are basically finalised the changes so far:

1. Roster Lock
2. Tourney has been expanded
3. Non seeded teams will have one immunity come the group stages
4. 1v1 and 2v2 rounds will be bo3 throughout the tourney
5. Fresh vote on maps
6. 1v1s happening at the same time

Everything else will work the same like vetos for example. With that said i want some feedback on a suggestion Ben gave that i really liked. That being making the 1v1 section bo3 all random, now i am totally against doing this in the group stages because i feel it puts non seeds at a disadvantage. However i would like to perhaps have the 1v1 section all random come the semi final stage. Naturally i will go with the majority on this so i would like to hear some feedback on whether you prefer 1 home pick each with 1 random game or else 3 random games come the semi final stage

I dont care whether its 3 randoms or 1 homemap each + 1 random as I dont think it will make a difference for us.

I thought the agreement was to not do this...This is just silly for all of the reasons that were outlined when this discussion occurred in the first place.

I also don't think doing the 1v1 round completely random is a good idea. This is supposed to be somewhat strategic, not just pure luck.

Also, changing the rules after a tournament has started is just stupid. This was one of the issues that plagued the last TIW, but unfortunately it seems you haven't learned from it.

But I remember you saying how the best clans have more all around players who play more maps etc. bla bla, so why are you opposed to this?

(I'm assuming you're talking about the handicap, but unfortunately you failed to clarify what point you are talking about, so there are two potential points I see you could be arguing)
I'm not saying that statement isnt true or is true but I did not say it, so why just flat out lie? You don't need to lie about what i've said to try and suit your agenda.

I'm opposed to this because, as explained before this is supposed to be a tournament to find the best CS clan. If a clan has a handicap and then narrowly wins, how does that truly decide the best clan? Can you imagine the drama that would ensue?

I don't really care either way, it just seemed like from the discussion we had the consensus was we weren't going to do this, and army generally says he will go with the majority, so I was wondering about his reasoning.

Also, could you please explain what you mean exactly by one immunity Army?

I based given the immunity on the majority who posted here and also ones i spoke with privately. I do understand your reasoning behind not having one. It is there to try and assist the non seeds purely on the basis that they are underdogs and it will assure that they get to play their best map. They dont have as deep a roster as the seeded clans who have members who can play basically any map at a high level.

The immunity simply just means they have one home pick throughout the entire set which cant be vetoed. Whether they use their immunity in the 1v1 section, 2v2 section or 3v3/4v4 section they will only have one in total. So for example lets say they use it in the 1v1 section for cba, all that means is they have used it and dont have another and that 1v1 cba will get played. Imagine if you where say basically a cba only clan and your best map and possibly the only map you know you stand a chance in is vetoed, the motivation to continue playing goes down dramatically. At least this way they know they can still play their best map.

Just to be clear though the immunity wont be added till after the qualifying stage

Seems fine to me. The only clan this will truly benefit is Dv8.

Yeah, sounds alright to me, wasn't sure exactly what form the immunity would take but that sounds reasonable. They will have an immunity in every round or what? I think if you're going to do that, immunities should be removed in the semis and finals if a non seeded team gets there

Dv8 were supposed to be seeded but went through the qualifying stages and got a bye, and now get an immunity. Sneaky!!

There is just one immunity that can be used in either 1v1, 2v2 or 3v3 round.

I dont care if we get an immunity or not. We stayed neutral to that aspect anyway. But I agree the immunities should be removed in case any of those teams get to the semis.
