I think all those new clans should participate because a lot of them only play CBA / CBA hero.It shouldnt be matter for strong clans to win them easyly This tournament will help them to learn bloods maps and some other cb's etc. They will practise many maps and our little community will get new players and grow.
There wasn't noob teams last time, think you guys may be singing another tune when trying to schedule against a clan with 4 members who play 1 map.
both LC & TAOE were noticably weaker than all the rest of the teams... maybe they werent 'noobs' but they went into TIW as massive underdogs... and as expected finished 5th/6th.
Now we have more interest for this TIW and more clans wanting to participate which can only be a good thing.
Only the seeds are in the groups so far and their games wont begin till the groups are finalised. It will last roughly as long as 2015 TIW only 1v1 and 2v2 wont be bo5 it will be bo3 throughout. So you will play roughly as many games even though there will be one extra team in the groups.
The non seeds of which their are 7 so far whether that increases or decreases i dont know. But so far we have dv8, rb, silent, dmz, ow, epic and dsyr. From those 7 we will get it down to 4 who will progress to the groups. All of those clans will be doing a playoff in January to get into the groups. We will use the format from TIW 2015 with games against each other to see who goes through. This will give all the above an opportunity to practice other maps but also give them a chance to see what it takes to play in their tourney come the group stage.
Once we have confirmation on all the teams who reach the group i will do a secret vote on maps for 2016 along with sorting out who is what group.
if it stays at 7 teams... dv8 goes with the other top 4... and the other 6 play for 6th 7th and 8th spot imo.. easiest way to settle things.. or just find an 8th team somehow
