The difference here is though that each clan will have 2 weeks to schedule their games and there is a deadline when games can be played. If for example one team doesnt turn up come deadline day the other team will get the win.

But as mentioned we would need to be convinced of their willingness to play thats why im asking for potential other clans/teams now. We kept 2015 small to give it more chance of success and i think that was a wise move but like anything it would be nice to see it bigger and better for the next one. But of course we may just have the same amount of teams as before

OR another possibility is that you invite LC & Epic and they combine together to be the 6th team. Every other team is able to play on their own in my opinion.

I think if it's 4 teams you can easily enforce 4v4 for the TG matches, if it's more than 4 teams you will have to go with 3v3.
I can't remember what happened with the other clans but I remember that 7th only had half of it's members able to show up each match we had... with smaller teams if people can't show up it won't be able to go ahead.

I was thinking more along the lines of "mercenary" teams. Made up of good all around players who don't fall into the top 4.

Also vicious will find players, no need to team us up with others

as for a start date.. you could try for middle of January with all teams setup and maps voted for as the official start time... up to the rest of the teams involved when they would like to play

I think perfect time for it in January , so many active players atm .

I don't really get the whole 'combining clans' thing. Isn't TIW supposed to be a tournament to determine the best clan at the time? It's expected some clans will be better than the others, but how does combining clans decide which is the best? We should be encouraging clans to recruit players, practice, and try to be better and become stronger, rather than just slapping the weaker clans together, I believe this is better for CS in the long run, especially if TIW becomes a regular thing (yearly or whatever). Using this approach we might see more clans rise up and form with the intention of winning TIW.

A TIW #2 with 4 clans will not be worth the time. There still is a 6 clan minimum requirement, we can increase that to 8, if a miracle happens and that many teams/clans are formed. From the previous tournament 4 teams: ViCiouS, dv8+XceL, 7th, Eot_ will get an invation to TIW 2 100% for their performance in the last tourney. Additional invites will be sent to clans/teams or players (captain material) to take part in TIW 2, we will send the invites based on tournament turnouts, their ratings and likely with an Overall Random League, which will test the skill of players who are interested in qualifying for an invite.

The Overall Random League or we could call it TIW 2 Qualifying (or something like that), will have the scenarios that were voted in for the TIW 2015, this will ensure that the players will be able to play in a variety of maps.

You could run a small tournament that any clan can play if they wish, and the winner gets the 6th spot?

Split Dv8 and Xcel. Dv8 active enough to play on its own ( leonidas, playboy, playmobil, koolsavas..?) Also try to invite WTF , Gx , Epic, DMZ

I don't think there was a plan to merge them this time around anyway
