Not if they ignore warnings and not if I can help it. Also, age has nothing to do with maturity or level of skill. I know some 18 y/o that have a higher maturity level than some players in their 20's & 30's.

I think a big tournament with some skill "levels" or "divisions" like football can be done, so not only 2k players can play. New players/interm should be able to have fun too in a fair tournament
why do mods or tourney host needs to check each player for being noob basher or ms player. each team can itself check its opponents for discrepancies. Just need to make rules like players should be playing on the npl ladder for 3 or 4 months and some rating limits or ratio. If any1 reported for not abiding by rules, he will get banned for 10 to 30 days or from such other tourneys (npl tourneys can become a regular event ) and the other team gets aw.
There is no way for regular players to 100% verify Noob Bashers. In some cases, players are reported, but certain criteria are not met in order for us to proceed with the complaint. It's all 'best guesses' for regular players when they report. This is why we have moderators for this lounge. As far as banning them for playing in the tournament, see my previous post on 'facts'; #5, #6 & #7 to be specific.

Yes the losers of their matches will still have a chance to reach the finals through a second tournament or round robin this tournament could span a few days instead of just one.
How about we make this a no rush 40 BF game lol so the noobs won't be rushed early as to make it more fair.

No rush 40min lol, that will not work, 2k vs 16++ will be unfair in any map in any condition, thats why I said about "divisions". My idea is making 2 or 3 parallel tournaments:
C=Newbe (11++ to 13++)
B=inrem (14++ to 16++)
A=Veteran (17++ and so on)

Sounds good the only problem it might have is the players who resign on purpose when the game is won to keep their rating down but I am sure this is less than 50% of the total players on voobly who do this.
The 0 gamers will not be able to participate especially with AKA rating they must use their original accounts.

man there's a huge.. huge.. HUUUUUUUUUUUUUUGE difference between a 17+ and a 18+
like a huge difference between 14+ and a solid 16+
This will be pretty hard to implement IMO. Countless times I've seen MS players making rooms and playing in NPL. Some of the trial npl mods don't do anything to convince these players to move to other lobbies because in some cases the smurfs are part of their NPL clans.
What NPL players can do is make this an invite only tournament maybe. Invite players you know fit the real definition of a new player, send a list to a tournament mod and maybe they can make this happen. Just my thought, this seems like a complicated discussion.

In the other hand i agree your point of view btw 18+ and 2k. Well this is not the root of discussion here, i hope BF event can be done! Lets see if someone has some ideas!

Yes? And? My point is a lot of them (maybe not all) don't belong in the NPL.

Will be difficult to host a New Player Lobby tournament, im new player lobby player, and alot if times good players bash me........
NPL is infested with smurfs, that's why tournaments in there aren't a good idea
