hum, well tournament for new players prob not a good idea. 1. as has been stated by others, good players will enter and bash the new players. 2. and, most important, npl is ment to educate new players and prepare them to move on up to lobbies with higher quality games. The idea is to move players on not to intice them to stay or have good players come back in.

Indeed its kinda hard to filter every single guy who wants to play in npl.
Hosting something familiar on RM/DM lobby though is another thing and under consideration.

Yes we need the variety and besides this don't mean it's a new player tournament but more for the current players .

variety is good. but if a tournament is to be held for current players then it should not be held in the npl. hold it and have fun, but hold it in another lobby.

I agree Last_Mage it can be hosted in the Tournament lobby or another depending on what the Vcom suggest.

hmm need some mods to check accounts of ip adress will be a lot of work but worth the try..

how about teams being decided by tourney holders after signup for teams to be fairer so that noobs will learn also.

Checking the profiles of each player for determining the Class of player is not an easy job. Also it is just impossible to check individually everyone on the Tournament date as it requires lot of time.
The only thing I see clear is that just a good Black forest 3v3 or 4v4 Tournament can be done which will be open for everyone.
Also about bashing and other stuffs. NPL players can play in tournament for Fun rather than thinking of bashed or winning. Tournaments are to be played for fun and its not possible to alienate one lobby from any tournament.

not impossible to go Sherlock on everyone's ass but yeah time consuming. If you want something good out of a bad situation, you'll have to do some hard work.

lol its not about our time, its about tournament time. 1 hr is given for sign ups and all cant be done in that. also we cant give more time to sign up.
