I had to install my very old disks and then it worked.

.
I couldn't make it run without the disk installation.

I'm having the same problem as these people had. I've followed: [You must login to view link] and I've tried everything else suggested here. I tried downloading and installing the compatibility patch manually from [You must login to view link] but it was version 4 which I think is too old? I also tried going to [You must login to view link] which is the link in the Game Diagnostics tool. The page won't load.

Hope there's a solution to this so that I don't need to go back to Steam!
