I made some changes. The changes are listed in the changelog but feel free to discuss here as well.

06.28.2017
  • Franks hp bonus taken away from cavalry archers. Bloodlines removed. Franks cavalry still +20% hp.
  • Crenellations back to imperial age for Teutons. Melee bonus taken away for Teutons.
  • Teutons - Ring Archer Armor technology removed.
06.27.2017
  • Theo reload time to 1.65 (1.4=>1.65), movement speed back to 1.05 from 1.15
  • Beli, William, & Theo range changed to 0.1 from 0.25.
  • Teutons plate barding armor is taken away, crenellations armor bonus was taken away.
  • Elite Genitour movement speed bonus was taken away.
  • Woad Raider, Elite Woad Raider+2 ap vs all buildings.
  • Castles cost 500 stone to build.
  • Castle (+60 AP vs Genitour). Changed from +20 ap vs Genitour.
06.26.2017
  • 2017.06 Mordred movement speed increased. +4 ap.
  • 2017.06 Robin Hood accuracy increased to 80 (75=>80, originally 70), Robin speed increased (.96=>.98).
  • 2017.06 Charlemagne movement speed increased (0.95=>0.97), +3 hp for fun.
  • 2017.06 Khan pierce ap changed to 22 (20=>22, original value 25).
  • 2017.06 Transport ship movement speed changed to 2.1 (1.9=>2.1).
  • 2017.06 Archers of the Eyes back to normal reload time (1.9=>2).
  • 2017.06 Gates cost triple stone (90 stone, 30=>90).
  • 2017.06 Super Elite Genitour renamed Weapon. Genitour movement speed decreased (1.6=>1.5).
  • 2017.06 Nevski - 0.5 range.
  • 2017.06 Frankish Paladin - +1 range.
  • 2017.06 Belisarius, William, Theo range changed to 0.25.
  • 2017.06 Harald - reload time increased (1.4=>1.33, original value is 1)
  • 2017.06 Franks get Bloodlines technology. Bearded Axe no longer effects Martel & Harald.
  • 2017.06 Thumb Ring technology enabled for all civilizations.
  • 2017.06 Teutons & Franks now get Bracer technology.
  • 2017.06 Bracer is now enabled for Celts.
  • 2017.06 Conquistadors lose their attack delay.
  • 2017.06 Cataphracts movement speed increased to 1.45 to match Belisarius.
  • 2017.06 Bearded Axe now applies to all axe throwing infantry units.
  • 2017.06 Theodoric the Goth reload time reduced from 1.8 to 1.4 and movement speed increased from 1.05 to 1.15.
  • 2017.06 William the Conqueror range increased from 0 to 1.

No map changes are planned at this time. It's just easier to edit the mod.

You obviously didn't read above. You'll still be able to build gates, they'll just cost more.

  • Khan AP was reverted to normal on the same day I did the update.
  • Mordreds were nerfed, because it was far too easy to obtain 20 razings after doing jack **** for first 13 minutes. I would leave them as they are.
  • Franks are Infantry civilization and one of the weaker ones aswell, this is why Bearded Axe was first to make apply for the UU and Charlemagne, after a few months of testing it did not achieve the desired goal, so I extended it to Charles Martel and Haralds aswell. Another alternative is to move Bearded Axe from Imperial Age to Castle Age and have the technology only apply to UU and Charlemagne (note: Charlemagne is on 3 range, which should stay, so you can make Franks more unique by letting their Charlemagne have more range, civilization themes overall should be emphasised more onto the Hero units in my opinion).
  • "Feudal and Castle Age Cavalry Armour Technologies enabled (Chain and Scale Barding Armour)." for Aztecs. Implying of course it actually works as I intended for it to work.

RCB 2016 the best map ever ............. it's balanced .......... the some change they did it to the map change the game a bit little but it still balanced ............. i hope you make new map for rcb that include newer heroes and some new store that could include new features and contents ........... the suggested change that you planned to put it in the rcb map it's not good and not balanced ......... this is my opinion ...... hope you see it and read it :)

i aggree 2016 map is fine . why we need to change anything about map ?, everybody is happy with 2016 map. sometimes new changes doesnt bring good stuff

I'll be making some map/mod changes.

Here's what's planned:

fair mod changes:
  • khan back to original ap,
  • gives goths ability to create gates,
  • change harald back to normalish stats (minimal attack and movement speed reduction),
  • increase movement speed of charlemagne and robin slightly,
  • decrease movement speed of genitour,
  • increase cost of gates
  • remove +1 range william
  • give frankish paladin +1 range, more movement speed
  • increase mordred attack rate...they raise too slow/genitour can block them too well
  • decrease friar healing ability on genitour
  • franks haralds 5+1? beared axe needs to not effect martel/harald/charlemagne
  • buff infantry civs/weaker civs
  • mordred for aztecs suck, needs to be buffed


map changes:
  • 13 kings khan
  • 16 harald
  • 21 global
  • palisade wall # back to 75

Why did you change the mod version back to 2017.06 from 2017.06.1? The .1 had already reverted the Khan AP back to 25.

I didn't. I haven't touched anything yet. Must've been Gallas somehow or transferring it back over.

I tried to be conservative. If anything is too big of a change it can be changed back easily enough. Such is the benefit of modding.

With the Celts getting Bracer it seemed a little unfair that the Teutons and Franks should be left out; especially when their win percentage is still so low. So I gave all civilizations Bracer & Thumb Ring tech.

Harald was buffed in an attempt to stop so many people from going global. It's rare when you see someone win going Harald nowadays.

I could say more but I'll wait for comments.

"Instead of +20% HP to Knight-line it is now +20% HP to all Cavalry."

Just incase you did not notice this, it is going to be +20 HP and +20% HP.
Teutons & Franks now get Bracer technology.

"Crenellations Technology modified (+1 Range to all Towers and Castles, requires Castle Age)."

May need further modification now, since Teutons will have 8+4 Range.

Let's just see what happens. I'm honestly the most worried about 0.25 range for Beli, Willliam, & Theo.
