These threads are just a playground for CS players to satisfy their insecurities. Why are they never moderated? It really makes the community look like a bunch of kids. This is not competitive spirit.
i'm talking about everything from last (and the one before as well) TIW. EVERYTHING caused drama, be it scheduling, picking maps, waiting for players, players not showing up, playing games on later dates because somebody had issues again...
it is just so frustrating that even if a date and time are set, you join a game room, then nothing happens for an hour, because some are too ****ed to show up, then when you can finally start, you have to play maps you dont like because all everybody cares about is cheap wins by picking the ****tiest maps that they sometimes don't even like themselves. the only good "quality" games were, when somebody ran out of cheap mappicks because they didnt have enough to bait out all the vetoes.
after the first game there obviously has to be the 1 hour spam in the gameroom, until you can move on to the second game...
the whole tournament would be a lot better, if you had fixed maps, let's say:
rcb, CBA, smosh, vets, europe for 3v3/4v4, khans, lustful for 2v2, CBA hero for 1v1. (just an example, no need to tell me how poor my mappicks are)
then when a date is scheduled, if one team doesnt show up, be more consequent with sanctions, just hand out gamelosses, maybe people will bother more then.

I totally agree with you. There is probally going to be a rule that IF a team dont show up, they have to re schedule and show up at the time is being picked by there oppenent. IF they dont show up twice they lose.
I think this can save alot of drama. I will discusse this with frankie since he is the head mod of this tournement.

And we would not have this problem in the first place, if clan representatives had agreed to join VCOM back in Summer, as each clan could have voiced their opinion via their leader and without having irrelevant people spamming and trolling on it.

I fear we would; much of this is being done by fast car, primez, dan and suicide and I think primez/dan leaders of their clans, couldn't imagine them not posting.

To keep this forum on track we've seen some really good ideas, I think we need army (the guy who puts in all of the effort to make this happen, ps. thank you) to make a definitive decision. We need a way of including cb's a bit more but not too much and lowering irrelevant maps, we then need a list of clans who want to play, voting on maps, qualifiers (if we're doing that) and seeding / start scheduling!

Yes this is a suggestion thread, yes some small changes may be made. However whats important to remember that those who have supported TIWs from the beginning along with those who have played and who sign up will essentially decide on the set up. As you all know I always go with the majority (democracy) regarding anything in TIW. So before you suggest anything ask yourself this have i been played in previous tiw tourneys and furthermore is my team/clan gonna play in this one?
I feel alot of this topic as been derailed somewhat but whats important to remember is TIW will always promote diversity and will include bloods, cbs and alternative maps. I know that point is known by most but i feel some need it explained in a very simple manner.
This suggestion thread isnt where any vote gets done lol. Certainly give suggestions and debate in a mature manner but lets remember no sign up thread as been made, no date as been agreed and if your just speaking nonsense it will get ignored.
