Ok guys please stop the arguing. You have 2 vetos so if a clan chooses europe in 3v3 and 2v2 rounds use your vetos and u wont play it unless it comes up in a random decider. The decider will only come into affect if its a tie and for the random decider a clan would also be taking a risk by using there strongest europe players in the hope it came up. Maybe we could increase the vetos to 3?
The hope is to have the 10 most voted for maps for each section, this is what we have so far that seem clear to be available
1v1
1. Germs (4 votes)
2. CBA (3 votes)
3. RCB (3 votes)
4. AB (2 votes)
5. CBA hero (2 votes)
6. Smosh (2 votes)
7. Dome (2 votes)
8. Gwarz (2 votes)
9. Khans (2 votes)
10. Radical? ( it was voted for in a number of different sections and all the teams have good rad players)
2v2

The vote was the fairest way to get map picks, obviously all the maps that had more than one vote have been included. Ive also added certain maps in each section to make up the numbers and also try and make it fair. Thoughts on the included maps? ive tried to explain why for each of them. Also i dont mind removing any map if it will get things moving along. Personally i dont think anyone can complain about map picks as there is something there for everyone, plus it was all done in a secret vote and nobody is getting anything in their favour. With reference to europe, i will be running a 2v2 europe tourney soon.

This is pretty disappointing fallout over a democratic system we've all essentially contributed to. I expected much better from everyone involved since we're trying to promote CS instead of our egos just this once. The way this event is shaping I'll be playing anonymously til AOC dies I think 11.

Ok guys i am deleting most of the last few pages so to keep the thread clear and we really need to stay mature for this to work. I have also made a number of changes to the initial post regarding maps, vetos, scheduling, brackets etc... and i welcome any feedback.
Due to the fact i have recieved not only alot of feedback on here but also in private messages i am going with this:
1. All the maps are available for selection and there will be 3 different random packs, so there will be a pack for 3v3/4v4, a pack for 2v2 and a pack for 1v1
2. Each clan will have 3 vetos in total now, if a veto is called for a map like for example euro in 3v3/4v4 then if it comes up in the random pack for that round then you dont need to call another veto because the map is already vetoed so the game needs restarted. This way if a clan is totally against a map then they can prevent it being played. It does mean though that it would be available in the 2v2 round but once again you can veto it and it wont be played in the random pack for that round
3. You cannot pick the same map for different rounds. So for example a clan cant pick cba for every round. They can only select it again if it was vetoed in another round.
4. Naturally we want to see the tourney as diverse as possible so you cant pick cba and cba hero has both home picks in a given round. However if someone uses a veto on say cba then the other map will be made available.
I trust this will now be to everyones liking because now if someone is totally against a map then they can prevent it being played. I welcome any feedback

It shouldn't be forced upon someone to 3v3. 4v4 should be played. 4v4 has always been in clan wars... Never 3v3. If you want to split down the round and do like 3 matches of each for variety then sure. Some clans will just force others to want 3v3 which seems pretty dumb.
