At the moment brackets will be decided by VCOM Hosts (who is playing vs who).
I am not sure but on the first game the players will split fairly amongst the 8 and then the winning teams will be stuck with each other until the end .
I do understand that playing with random strangers can be a disadvantage sometimes.
I won't be answering any questions about players that may or may not qualify. That is for the sign-up thread. This thread is for questions or suggestions in regards to the criteria that has been set.
Sign-ups will begin Saturday, August 23rd. I will create the Sign-up thread on this date. I will also list instructions for signing up.
I do believe we need to figure out the terms for the MS lounge games played. I have a considerable amount of games played in the MS lounge and I would still qualify for Division A. So I think these terms need to be discussed further.
How about we make this a team tournament? I know lots f Npl clans , this might actually motivate them
This is the first ever Official NPL Tournament, so restricting it to teams only will leave a lot of people left out. You don't have to be in a Team to play fmt (with your friends).
About Streaming, we currently don't have anybody stepping up to stream this. If you would like to stream, feel free.

VCOM Hosts will decide who plays who in the first Round. We will do the best we can to make sure the teams are split fairly on both sides of each team. After that, it will depend on who wins the first Round to go on to play in Round 2.
No players with a win/loss ratio of 2:1 in the Beginners RM Ladder (minimum of 100 games, e. g. 80 Wins, 40 Losses).
No more than 400 games played on the Beginners RM Ladder.
Maximum of 200 games played in the MS lounge from 2012.
Division B (Intermediate Ladder)
No players with a win/loss ratio of 2:1 in the Intermediate RM Ladder (minimum of 100 games, e. g. 80 Wins, 40 Losses).
No more than 200 games played on the Intermediate RM Ladder.
Maximum of 400 games played in the MS lounge from 2012. All ladders combined, but excluding the Intermediate Ladder. The Intermediate Ladder is mirrored with the NPL. DM games do not apply to this rule.
It's hard to see someone using the Intermediate RM Ladder.
So how it's possible to fill divisionB
I'd get guys from MS, <1499 rated at 1v1 AND teamgames cuz there's a LOT.
After the decision that make NPL 1200, become pretty fair those ratings.
a 1300 in NPL sure is a 1300 in MS.

The MS ratings do not compare to NPL ratings at all. There is also no rating cap in MS. Also, the NPL was created only a few years ago compared to MS. Meaning a player could have 3000 games played in MS and still be at 14xx rating. Maybe he plays a lot of FFA or doesn't play fmt. There are many variables to make your statement untrue.
