Since then I decided to recruit all you new guys and I think we can make this series a lot bigger and better.


Here is my rough outline:

Phase One: 4v4 Random Civ CBA Tournaments in several time zones and on different days.

Each player will receive a ranking based on their best placement in a tournament. So if you lost in the first round in one but got a quarter final place in another you will be ranked based on your best performance. This gives everyone a chance to play, and some will play many of the events.


That as far as I got so far, so if you guys could suggest some stuff for this I'd be damned glad

I am thinking that this hould tournament should be on point basis and the idea i m putting is a legendary idea for me
Hope i will be able to show my ideas clearly.
So as you said 3 type of tourney 1v1 3v3 n 4v4.
The traditional way of 3v3 and 4v4 is to chose a team and player play with their team but this time teams will be random and players will be given points for every win and final point will decide winner.
Each Player should play 5- 1v1 , 5-2v2 and 5 4v4 games and each time their opponent and allies will be different. And each player will be given 2 point for each win.But it will be hard to keep record and matches so hard work for us.

Its not a bad idea but people would probably not like having to play with people they don't know.

Then the only alternative looks to divide people on time zones for widespread tourney.

Yes its simpler, we can hold numerous events as part of one huge tournament.

Sir as per i have noticed that you want to have a BIG CBA tourney i have thought in myself that we must organise a CBA tourney between clans. Thats the best way i thought it can be. Clan-mates know each other very properly. If we do a random 4x4 tourney then it will not be easily for players to play as some of player speak diff. languages and other's won't understand that. Also we can award shield to clans on their clan wall. And also clans can also agree whether we put proposal of random game or mirror or same civs.

Clan tournament will be a different tournament for later in the year.

After CBA I will be doing a master of CS tourney with different types of maps.

Well sir i think we will get less players for CBA tournament as u are up for random team tournament. But we support ur idea and i will try to attract large number of players for this tourney with regards

We get hundreds for random civ tournies. We get way less for same civs 2v2 etc.

Ok I think now this tournament should have a good time to sign up and promotion.
The views brought forward are good and as we know tourney will be of 3 phases :

• 1v1 Challenger
• 3v3 Same civ tournament
• 4v4 Random civ tournament
  Now for proper maintainence and good easy promotion I think as like of RM tournaments a forum should be made inside in custom scenario section named Master of CBA series and then 3 sub forums in it named according as the phases . I have attached image:
  
  After that in each of those phases 4 threads should be created named
  --Rules,settings and general disscussion
  --Sign ups
  --Match Fixtures
  --Recordings and result
  
  This will be a nice way to promote and manage tourney .These things can be started after 20th .
  But a hard typing job will be there and if you like then I can type those for you
  Estimated time:
  21 st april to announce tourney and make the required threads.
  First week of may to start tourney.

I like the idea of 1v1 challenger. We can have all the people who want to 1v1 do it during a period of time and play vs each other.

We will do two 2v2 same tournaments and 4 4v4 random tournaments.

You guys in asia can handle one 2v2 and two of the 4v4s. and same for the gmt zones.

Oh and theres no 3v3. 3v3 doesn't work that well in my experience.

I updated the thread with extra details. The 1v1 challenge thing is a good idea and if the badge is like a trophy and changes hands every tourney it might make it more prestigious.

We are ready to host the tournament in the Asian time zones starting from last week of April onwards. Give us confirmed dates and we will get things started..
Oh and 1v1 challenger amazing idea..
Another interesting one will be masters of 1v1 infa/archers etc..
Or we could fix the civs for later stages of 1v1 challenger like 1 infa,1 archer etc...
4v4 random and 2v2 mirror will be fun and interesting too..
I am sure this will attract attention from CS guys on other clients too if proper promotion is done.

Lets make this the biggest ever CS tourney hosted on Voobly..
