General strat for Black Forest?

Hello everybody

I've recently just started to play AoE2:TC and I'm getting thrashed by everyone, ranging from flushers to fast castling knight spewers. Can someone give me some pointers as to how to counter these strategies in a game or something?

Watch some recorded games, either of people you play against or better watch the best players. Dreamvis and feage streams, zeroempires and bbqturkman youtube channels are all worth watching.

Beginners probably shouldn't be slinging, lol.

I like the comment about recorded games. Watch the recorded games of the better players as said above, and also some websites have good strategy articles. Age of Kings Heaven is a good site for strategy articles. You will learn a lot. After that, it is just practice.

Wall lol, then you can't be rushed. Wall with palisade and a house near the first minutes of dark age then mine stone in feudal to build two layers of stone wall behind and boom.. Then it's just a matter of military
