But what if it is "tied" at the half way point? What do people suggest is done at that point? Go by kills? score?

Then there is the fact that people can reach khanz and pull back and camp for 1k khanz and not let the other person even get khanz type camping.

No, it's a gay map when you insert stupid rules like camping. Never had a problem with severe camping.

Take look at the punctuation, is stupid, it encourages the camp, even to make the farm economy and thus accelerate the scoring, among many other possibilities to add punctuation game.

Limit time: 1 hour 30 minutes and both players were camping, do not forget the point of view, camper is the one defending, but that does not attack too.

Put more rules, it is only complicate a championship, which we have long expected. You need to facilitate the actions of the organizers, to facilitate the process, and not to complicate the debate over who won and who lost.

Maurox always stops spawning units at a point to avoid feeding.
All you can do then is keep pushing and feeding him like hell or do the same

to rules is stupid, everyone plays as you want, or we want to criticize or discuss the players that suppress units at the beginning to get 4 or 5 Janissaries, or have available queue to get the villagers to get TC?, less stupidity and more simplicity in the game. Everyone wants to play as, with its own strategy, and if there is no winner in 1:30, punishment for both. Eliminated. Simple and effective.

Time limit on a map..?? If no one wins after 1:30... then no one wins!!

So a battle between 2 good players..
Is it going to be a "fight" over the leaf line?
Is it going to be a "fight" for the most kills?
Is it going to be a "fight" for the highest score?

Thought it was a fight to kill the enemy castle? If your castle is still alive then you are still alive.

Add population limits on spawned units? This way campers can only amass say, 200 Khans?

Or you could simply make it so that if it goes to an hour and 30 mins and no sabs are out, then they're both eliminated. An hour and 30 mins is plenty of time for both to get sabs, that'll also encourage continuous attacking. And if both have sabs, then the game should be finished pretty soon enough after that hour and 30 mark if it even lasts longer.
