Since window mode was introduced over 2 years ago there was a problem where the cursor would flash black or not move properly at times. No longer!

Starting with update 2.1.62.1 released a few minutes ago the the cursor will appear as it does in non-Window mode games :D

This update also fixes a similar issues with Voobly multi-monitor.

(For those that remember the text input flashing issue w/ window mode that bug was also fixed in past couple months)

They go away when you disable window mode?

What operating system do you have?

Yes the black flashes go away without the window mode. I use windows7 and my resolution is 1920x1080, never had problems before with the window mode.

What type of graphics card do you have? Can you PM me in the CS lobby? Can you also try to screenshot the issue?

What about the input flashing issue in not Windowed mode?
I've been experiencing this for long time ago under Windows 8 with AMD Graphics :(

Can you describe better the issue you are seeing? Perhaps take a video?

Does it go away if you use window mode?

I don't have any recorded software currently installed, but basically I can't see what I type in the chat text input, because it flashes (showing the text) when I'm typing, but as soon as I stop keystroking, the box goes black and it doesn't show any text (hence i cannot see what I typed)

In the attached image, you can see the cursor just before the text, which is not showing. Thats my issue.

Please try render in 32-bit and window mode (see http://www.voobly.com/pages/view/dxtools ) and see if your problem goes away :)
