1v1, only ELITEST players will show up. Will be very one sided. 2v2 is better. And CBA players are the worst. Don't think anybody would show up for a 1v1 tournament. They would never play each other in 1v1. Too afraid the public will see who is better lol. Remember Fuja tried to get this going and almost nothing happened.

At the blood scene we have that too, but not in the same degree as CBA players have it.

Ya Im pretty sure we are going to have quite a few different CBA formatted tournaments now with VCOM underway. Maybe quarterly or something. 4v4 Random civ tournament was not to long ago can probably expect another CBA tourney soon.

I don't know why people have this idea that only the top players show up for 1v1 tourneys, if you look back at all the previous tournaments 1v1 has a much higher average number of participants. What Fuja tried to get going was an unorganized league which is never going to work in aoc cs, I think you're wrong about top CBA players being afraid to play each other too, I have always been able to get games vs Estigma, Fuja, Final, Ghost etc. of course they have their main names with high streaks but they are not afraid to play non-rated or with nicks.
1v1 CBA tournaments have always been huge in the past.
