1v1 seems to cater primarily to the elite.

Teams will draw a diverse crowd and ultimately be more fun.

In your opinion, a lot of people also prefer 1v1.

No my 'opinion' is based on feedback from the community.

You are one of the elite therefore you are being catered towards in a 1v1. There will be masters tournaments still. But I personally am aiming at teams.
