I am probably not the only one to notice the decline and lack of players in the deathmatch lobby. We all need to find a way to bring some people from Medieval Siege and Custom Scenario back to deathmatch. Options we have to bring some players back to deathmatch.
Tournaments
Create some tournaments with large prizes at the end, people love getting stuff after winning and this would surely boost the playing community.
More Youtube videos
Sadly there is a lack of Deathmatch videos on Youtube and Youtube can be a main source of players

I am just throwing ideas out there and I know that AOK is also suffering from some player loss but everyone should post how they feel about the loss of players and what should be done about it. And if my ideas were bad or good haha

I have one question that i would like you to answer if you have time and if you want to answer my question. How do i start playing online?

Sure first off you must download the Voobly client which can be found on the home page. After that make sure your game you are playing on (I am assuming it is age of empires) is correctly installed. Also make sure all patches are installed. Once these steps are finished simply log into the Voobly client and select the lobby in which you want to join. Then join a room! Have fun! If you have any troubles I can walk you through it further.

whats wrong with vobbly... almost no one is in the lounges and i cant join them cause of some server error?

im trying to call the boss to get the server back up so far no one can get in and if they leave they can not re-enter the lounge so please be patient while i try to get ahold of the boss as soon as i can.
