Can't view anything. Dont get any UI, instead a line of random message input box where I just put random stuff. How to fix?

Applied all the steps above, does not change anything, except that instead of a free floating window, I now have it fixed on the top right of my screen

I don't really play often, but I do once a few weeks or so, and I've been playing on the same setup same device since the time. I should not need to do this for no reason right?

Also this game is hella old, I've 0 idea from where to get the install links for the reinstallation

So I realised, the problem isn't with the game, rather with the resolution I'm using. If i force the loading screen on my whole monitor, it appears as such. If i use the 'rendor in 32 bit color' feature which basically makes it a smaller screen, it does not load.

Any fixes for this?

The pre-game window isn't full screen however, and after applying those game room settings, you must set the in-game resolution once the game has started to the identical resolution of your desktop.
