It allows me to do ranked match with 1.0 but not 1.0a, why? A bunch of have returned to play here, a couple of us purchasing membership, but cannot play ranked. Please help me!

I ran it, it said no issues. This is only for 1.0a HD in the room settings. It will work for 1.0, but we have always played 1.0a

This looks clean as well. I want to be honest, I have no idea why this isn't working. Could you please ask one of the other players in ROR whether they could give you a copy of their game directory or check with them, what is different from your setup?

As stated above, I never played AOE 1. Sorry about that.

I am using a legit copy of Age of Empires Gold, as an .iso disc image. Which includes both AoE and RoR. My game is patched to AoE 1.0c / RoR 1.0a. Everybody in Esquiline is having the same issue. Nobody can turn 1.0a HD rated on. Only 1.0. At one point back in 2018, we played rated all the time and there was no issue. I am slowly growing the community again here. What can I do to help it work again?

I tried going to the Live Help but there was not a solution available.

I receive this error whenever I open a room.

I have verified that my version is patched with 1.0a as it works with multiplayer here (despite the error).

According to this error message you didn't install patch 1.0a or the host of the game was using a different patch. Since I never played AOE 1... which patch is the last official one?

what you need team voobly team? 100 dollar bill to get the rating system right in the Rise of Rome Esquiline room help Rebirth out sure he would love to throw a helping hand into fixing the problem.

1.0a is the last official patch for Rise of Rome. I do have the patch installed as stated March 11th in one of my replies. The rest of the lobby has the same patch.
