1.5 starts ok. What log, what pic, what could I send here ? I have recommended opts, w10, ... It was working for me with w7, now 1.6 dont.

We will release another bug fix update soon which should solve most crashing issues we are having with the Romans civ.

Now 20240229T210600Z I deleted
C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Games\Age of Empires II\Voobly Mods\*
, restarted voobly, it downloaded all
Voobly Mods\
and, spectating 1.6 shows AoE2 screen
"loading stream" ( keyboard key PrintScreen dont work here )
, then it crashes.

Players are playing it, so generally it works. ...

Another update has been released today, please check whether you are still having the issue.

1.5 works, is ok.
1.6 don't. This is
( I don't know path, I deleted it and it dont create automatically )\voobly.txt
log from join room as spectator, till AoE2 crash ( I stayed in room ).
There is 00:42:38 LE_GameTerminated
( it is unicode, cannot be easily found by search, or copied. By eyes by looking it can be found ).
It crashed hard, I guess explorer.exe is reloaded ( taskbar the south panel disapears and then reloads ... ).

!!! I found out, that in single player ( starting room with 1/1 Players ) 1.6 works !
That means it must be some small bug, it shows screen "Loading stream ... ", then crashes

No idea if this is it: I uninstalled AoE2 DE ( steam version ), I uninstalled steam.
Then I uninstaled voobly, uninstalled AoE2 conq and AoE2 king,
then I deleted C:\Program Files (x86)\Voobly\
then I deleted C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Games\

Then I installed AoE king, AoE conq, voobly,
and now 1.6 works for me also spectating 4v4 game,
so ALL IS OK NOW for me. Thx.

I dont even need in Game window menu "Game / DirectX / Disable Hardware Acceleration"
and I dont need "Game / Windows Compatibility / Run in Windows XP SP2 compatibility mode"
