You still didn't install the compatibility patch or you have extracted the setup package to the wrong directory, as stated by the game diagnostics. The patch files cannot be found, therefore you get the "Failure! Expected 1.0C" error.

Double check whether Age2HD is installed in the directory shown below and click Next.
32-Bit: C:\Program Files\Steam\SteamApps\common\Age2HD
64-Bit: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Age2HD

If you are running a 64-bit OS, then you extract the patch to the x86 folder. When Voobly prompts you for the game binary, then you choose the age2_x1.exe in the age2_x1 folder. And then the game diagnostics should not complain anymore.

It's the last step after you install the compatibility patch. Of course you must keep Voobly closed, else you are wasting your time and you must go start over -- as explained in the self-help article.

Yes, I got the patch installed but all the other downloads are still pending 1.5 RC 1.6RC 1.5 game data 1.6 game data and two others. I do not know what are the two others. And it just keep downloading for hours even after it shows 100%.

And why on earth do you have two copies of AOC installed on your computer, even though I stated two pages ago, that only ONE game may be present on your hard drive at the same time. And when looking at the "unzip failed" error message, I must assume that you disabled the UAC (again) or messed with the NTFS permissions on Volume D.
