An app where you have to download updates every time you open it! GREAT! JUST GREAT!

We haven't updated our client for almost five years, now we decided to update it again and solving crashing issues for Windows 10 and Windows 11. Furthermore Windows 7 and Windows 8 are still supported and there is a huge list of things from the past five years that needs to be fixed. What is wrong with regular updates? We even brought DE to Voobly.

Can't you manually confirm first and then update it later?
Automatically update every time I open it, and force install various(v1.5/1.6 Game Data /1.6 Map Pack/AoC Custom Scenarios) mods that I don’t need.
I think DE Balance mod is better than them.
How to use AoC Custom Scenarios?

DE Balance isn't even actively maintained anymore. The author is more or less inactive on Voobly and there exist many pending issues.

1.5 Game Data is Wololo Kingdoms, which has been made available to everyone on Voobly.
1.6 Game Data is Definitive Edition, which has been made available to everyone on Voobly.
AoC Custom Scenario is the updated map pack for Custom Scenarios, maps that work with patch 1.5/1.6.

Plus 1.5 Game Data is not updated, it's just the balance left by WK.
