I have bought the CD's, installed on my Windows 10 comp. I have run it on 640 res, compatibility mode and running on XP SP2 and Windows 8 comp mode - not working. My screen enters the 640 res (as if booting), then goes black and disengages.
I then followed this guide, [You must login to view link] and it worked! - the game boots and I can play when I replace AOMX with the download provided here here. However it is not working with voobly atall.
I re-installed the game and installed the 1.03 patch, etc. However there are still issues with voobly. I run diagnostics and it finds the game folder, no issues. Voobly has never been able to engage AOM TT, with or without the cracked AOMX file.
I noticed that after re-install and patch that there is no AOMXNOCX file this time - which from what I gather is quite important. Is the NOCX a patch insert?
Can anyone create a step-by-step guide, or ref one?
Trying to get back in to AOM TT.
