Hi,

I keep getting this issue when playing or watching different types of Age of Conquerors game. When I click on a player, or if I'm playing, the visual quality of the game is terrible. Sometimes it's how I expect it to be (clear), but a lot of times it's unplayable and unreadable, as in the attached screenshot. I can't even properly explain what it is, but basically the image at the bottom spreads across the entire screen in strips.

I've reinstalled the entire game through Steam, run through recommended DirectX settings and colour settings to no avail.

Any ideas please? I'm desperate as I love this game!

Check for a folder called "compat slp" in your AOE 2 folder. That may be the issue.
