What happens if you right click on AOT > Run As Administrator?

pretty much nothing, it prompts me to say yes or no and no matter what I choose nothing happens

You will find the game diagnostics under "Options" in the AOT Main Lobby. :)

Installation path reported by registry is 'C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Games\Age of Mythology'
Verifying 'C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Games\Age of Mythology\aomx.exe' exists...

I agree that it's weird and no I don't have the same problem with any other games. It's probably just win11 being stupid.
I really appreciate the help but I think I'm just gonna give up lol

The only update I have is that going back to windows 10 did not solve the problem so I guess it's just me lol
