A couple of Member Pluses disappeared with the Corona pandemic, we still don't know what happened to Michael (https://www.voobly.com/profile/view/124296911) or Gallas (https://www.voobly.com/profile/view/123324634). Let's hope, that they have just lost interest in AOC / Voobly and that they are alright.

Chris since you are here, can we please have none zip files and instant downloading recording when clicking the floppy disk in a players profile? Cmon its not 2005 anymore where we need to zip a few KB file to download it faster

Don't have the best track record of promoting the right people

It used to be worse in the past. Nowadays, the average system operator stays with us for five years.
Some resign, some stay with us forever, some disappear. After all, it's a voluntary job.

It was implemented to save disk space / and clean up procedures. We decided to keep recorded games for a long time -- up to six months -- instead of deleting them after only six weeks. Recorded games are only deleted when disk space is getting low.

Chris whats up with that awful mod download. 100 MB mods take literally ages to download

We haven't found a better solution yet. The mod center allows us to automatically deploy the patch and the required game data and the player does not have to install anything manually or keep it up to date manually. In future we want to implement a background update mechanism.
