Important NotesCommunity Patch 1.6 will replace the original User Patch 1.5 in future and become the new official patch on Voobly. Unlike User Patch 1.3, 1.4 and 1.5, this patch was not created by AIScripters and is not affiliated with the User Patch project. To avoid any confusions, this patch will be called Community Patch 1.6 instead. Our goal is to keep up with the changes of the official DE release of the game. The new patch is using the original UP 1.5 RC + our own changes for AoE II DE. More than 100 community members have contributed so far! How to Play, read more [You must login to view link]:In order to play, you need the Patch v1.6 RC and the Data Mod v1.6 Game Data. Both, the patch and the data mod must be selected in your game room settings, else you will experience game crashes.Game interfaceThe patch has the Advanced interface enabled by default. You can disable it and also activate the global queue in the patch options.Push F1 to enable or disable overlay/ global or detail queue. Read more about the interface [You must login to view link].Manual installationIf you are experiencing an error where the download gets to 99% and then crashes, you can try to do a manual installation for the mod:

• Download the mod from https://www.voobly.com/files/prompt/86263237.
• Navigate to the folder "Voobly Mods/AOC/Patches", located in your AoE II folder.
• Create the folder "v1.6 RC", exactly that name
• Extract the contents of the zip file you downloaded into the new folder.

Error reportingIf you experience crashes when playing the game, it's likely due to some bug in the patch. To help us fix it, you need to use the Event viewer (visor de eventos).Right after the crash happens, do the following:

1. Open the start menu and write "Event viewer".
2. On the menu on the left, look for "Windows logs" and in there "Application".
3. The window on the right will list all the events the system registered. Look for a recent "Error" one and click it.
4. Make sure it's an error that occurred on "age2.exe".
5. Take a screenshot of the error report and send it in a comment.
6. Give us information about what happened before the crash. Was it a random game or some scenario? What civilization were you using? Do you remember what you did right before the crash (build a building, some technollogy that may have finished)?
