hello my game freeze startup screen if i host . there no error or something just stuck that screen say
not responding



if i select `start a single player menu` there is no problem. i can play offline game . i can launch game normal. i also can join spector games and watch.

only i cant be host myself multiplayer game

i reinstall windows . still i get same .

there is something wrong about directplay or what ?

there is another strange thing i saw now . when game stuck startup first launch after i end process and i again launch game then its launch without problem. after that all games launch normal but when i change room i must repeat again. there is something making problem if create new room. every create new room making first launch freeze

i dont know what is it, but you should write us your OS version and drivers versions

be sure that firewall allows AoE access the internet

i using windows 10 18363.1556 version

amd rx 580 2020-21.4.1 driver install


i waited stuck screen about 10 min . after 10 min later its created room. i think thats problem age2_x1.exe wating network



but if i kill process age2_x1.exe next launch game not wating. think voobly have a bug

If you host your own game, press button to start the game and then kill stacked game and do launch again, its ok?

I met some problem too, but game stacked by another way and not forever

1 more, another question... 10 minutes - and room is created and all is ok? My max wait time is 60-69 seconds...
