Actually you said corrupted. But the demo attached was Case #1.

I thought corrupted would have produced the result of Case #2.


1. "Old recorded game" cannot be loaded.
2. The recording crashes my game and I have to relaunch from voobly.

corrupted file can mean many things, the game can only show error messages for errors the programmers wrote code to handle them, if the wrong version error didn't have error handling the game would have crashed too

perhaps you can find a tool on aokheaven that can fix recorded files that have problems
