The true problem with a reset is not that you lose the ratings, its that you lose the game numbers. I made the same mistake in the past. It isn't a good idea unless you can possibly preserve the ladder stats while taking the rating to 1600.
Before it is said, looking at profile is not a realistic solution, especially now.

unlikely in Voobly though, that limit seems to be in 2000 and the same ELO calculator is used from 1900 to 2000...
if the way you get points changes once you reach 1900 and it forces you to have ~70% or even more to get 2000, it'd be much harder to get it and somehow being 2k would mean "something" since it's a "bad" level compared to >2100 in RM and CS
tldr: change the way points work from 1900 to 2000 for make an ELO hell that doesn't give 2000 to anyone easily, making the being-2000 worth it
it's simple as setting a number of points that you will get per match until you reach 2k, like 9 per match or something really low even if you're playing with people of your same rating it would be great imo
