I see there are a number of gameplay/balance mods such as "DE Balance" and "Wololo Kingdoms" - do I install some or all of these? What is the most common gameplay/balance mod? I don't have the HD Steam expansions, if that makes a difference. Might be willing to buy if needed. Does Voobly automatically manage mods for me based on the lobby I join?

Hello friend! sorry for the late reply.

In order to play WK you'll need the steam version of age of empires with expansions.

Also the mods automatically download for you when joining game rooms you can also download mods here: https://www.voobly.com/games/view/Age-of-Empires-II-The-Conquerors/Game-Mods/gamemods/browse2/13/1
