If everybody cared about CS they would play no matter what settings as Frankie the only person willing to deal with cs still
personally idc about playing stuff i dont enjoy, a prize pool would motivate me(and surely would motivate others) to play stuff they dont like at all... A great example is how pros went from play arabia maps to random and weird maps in some tournaments. I'm sure they wouldn't play that kind of maps if there wasn't money involved
What the **** is wrong with unlimited roster though. No team is gonna field a B team regardless the rosters are locked or not, you're just leaving niche players out of the tournament.
Players wandering can either form a clan for the event or merge their clans, there are a couple possible teams, although of rusty players, that would stand up there with both xcs & eot in its current ****ty state.

I honestly think it's just xCs trying to troll everybody, just assume they're playing and if they don't shoe give BYE wins. Not like they'd win much anyway in this type of tournament.

if xCs doesnt want to participate, tell to army directly, it isnt necessary to draw attention to generate drama.
