samurai does better than woads.. I don't feel woads are counter unless u have siege onager hitting them from back
samurai has good bonus

Rams could be an idea,garrison in them some foot units and backup the rams with arbalestas.This should be like 'Hard To Kill' mission for Turk rofl rofl

Just take some rams ....better capped,they are more resistant and garrison into them some elite huskarls...the battering ram and capped can garrison 4 units and the siege ram 6 units ,here s your answer

in general, if you encounter a problem that you cant counter, do not fight it.

You don not have to beat the army to win, go around it, get his economy, play mind games.
But do not start a battle you do not know how to win.

Use quicker units, raid vills, (carts if there are), sneak vills behind his base, buy time vs his army, use decoy, make backups, etc. Divide and conquer.
There is a lot more tricks to play then the straightforward slaughter.
