i have been playing for "AGES" ;grin

, and now out of the blue this error shows up when the game is launching (see image)
i literally used the same instalation folder for over 10 years.
second image shows "all fine"

UPDATE: AFTER INSTALLING FROM SCRATCH AGE2 (FROM ISO FILES I HAVE) IT STILL FAILS. I WILL TRY REINSTALLING VOOBLY

I recommend installing Voobly and the game in it's default path to avoid hassle.

Default path for the original game is: C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Games\
Default path for Voobly is: C:\Program Files (x86)\

That also means you will need to use a legal version of the game.
