I installed the game via Steam and then run the game diagnostic, it says fine.
However, when I enter a game no menu appears whatsoever.
No mini map, no building menus, no villager commands , no unit commands.

How can I make the game diagnostic point to another exe, or what should I do?

Adjust your launch options in the game room [You must login to view link]
Also select 'User Patch' under 'Command Bar position'.
