AoE2 Saved Game Replays End Prematurely

I've had this issues where AoE2 saved games (ones I've been able to watch in their entirety in the past) are ending prematurely (anywhere from a few minutes to a half hours) into gameplay. The screen will show as "Paused," and then I am unable to continue the replay. Has anyone else had this problem? Is this an issue with corrupted save files?

not as far as i know.
i assume you using the same patch and mods to watch these games as they were played under

Yes, I am using the same patch and mods, no changes besides usual voobly client updates.

Hi.

Game pauses are usually caused by a mismatch in patch, mod or a combination of both while viewing the recording.

Sometimes if the patch/ mod has undergone recent updates/ changes you may experience the same issue but in those cases there is not much to be done about it unless you can get hold of the exact same patch + mod combo that was used while playing the game.

Please double-check carefully and test again.
