I don't get al lthe .hki file management. I tried a lot of times now. the hd hotkeys says its successful but hwne I open voobly and the game lobby of voobly, not ig, then I cna't see a category that says "mods" which means I can't even open a drop down menu that shows hdhotkeys or whatever.
Itried messing around with crating accoutns, changing filenames from copy to player1 adn moving from profile to main folder. the HD folder. I set aoe2 and voobly to run as aministrator, also for all users.
NOTHING WORKS!

sof far I have in path:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Age2HD
I deleted player 1,2 , and 3. so now its only player0.hki whihc is my acount name jobdone.
this should have undone my filename change attmept. but also it shouldn't matter, be cause the problm is not porifiles. I don't think so.

ofc I installed voobly, compatability patch, updated voobly, wololoo kingdoms..

so where is the problem excactly? how the f do I proceed?

Edit: I also tired deletign aoc folder as described in link:

and followed stp 3-6. then I redownloaded HD hotkeys. still no result.

I tried seeign if it was the same problem. no. I set the house to Q instead of E. it remembered when launching a new game. it also had no effect if it was multiplayer of single player. I just wanted to be safe. I also tried it twice. I als otried restarting voobly just to be safe. it still remembers the Q for house.
and in th link there isa user who links tow other links.

of those two links, honestly I am gettign descicion fatigue from the first. and I feel like I already tried the second one with replacing player1.hki in hd main from profiles. but maybe its not excalty that.

solved: reinstall wololoo kingdoms and chose the bottom option that overwrites.
