I haven't played AOC in 10 years or so, but I used to do it here. Now I saw there is a AOE 2 Definitive edition, that I just bought. Could I use that to play here, and what else is needed? Bit confusion for me.

For now, we're supporting there the classic AoC game of 1999. Also, users who bought HD Edition from Steam can use the compatibility patch (which can be found here : [You must login to view link]) to play with the AoC non-HD users, which has a huge community here in Voobly.
