Ok Guys I would love to have another crack at trying to get this tourney up and running again. Naturally ive reviewed our last attempt along with the changes in the landscape in custom. As you all know TIW is about diversity and a variety of maps but of course it can't be ignored with how dominant cbs are at the minute. Though hopefully if we can get this up and running it will give some activity to other maps again.

Proposal:

Much the same as the previous TIW with a bo3 1v1 round worth a point, bo3 2v2 round worth a point and a bo5 3v3/4v4 round with each game worth a point. Each round will have a random decider.

Difference being that CBA and CBA Hero will be auto included in all the rounds as maps available and are immune from being vetoed unless they come up in a decider.

Voting to work the same for the remaining maps as in each clan/team with 5 votes for 1v1 round, 5 votes for 2v2 and 10 votes for 3v3/4v4. Only this time you dont need to vote for cba or cba hero because they will be included already.

What I would like to hear is thoughts on the above proposal? I think this goes without saying keep it clean and mature thanks.

Its also important to note than no date as been set but I know for sure I wont be in a position to host it until at least the start of November

I think having a very small roster size should seriously be considered (max 6 players for example for newer clans and 5 max for established clans like they have in RM). We can get more teams that way and have fewer cases of recruiting someone to play a niche map solely for the purposes of winning.

I also think having immunity protected CBs is a promising improvement.

If this actually happens its likely it will be the least active TIW out of the previous two.. maybe try and see if in the next one or two months we can get majority of the top clans for it and just play like a round robin type format with all teams playing each other... kind of like a top team TIW ? maybe even a renegade team formed with all decent/good players that arent part of any of those clans as well.

Agreed though this TIW should be favoured more towards CB's than we have done in the past.

1+ maybe teams with more members can form team B and C, it will really help having more teams.

RB will showup and be a pain in your ass if we care enough

The only way something like this can happen is if the only maps played are CBA/Hero (RCB mb?) where we try to get new players interested. Can make ppl try new maps with bonus points but they cant be the tournament. Thats the only thing that makes sense for Cs rn as it makes newer players engage more in the community. I firmly believe the future of CS lies in developing existing players and not staying in the past. Old players may come back to play a few games for this but they wont be the ones playing everyday. Like sean said, life goes on they are old now the future doesnt lie in them.

I think it would be a good idea to invite Rm clans to participate in this tournament, without any pressure on them, and thus attract attention.
