aoe2: Way to watch replays offline?

I understand how to watch game replays, but there doesn't appear to be a way to watch the replay game file without being connected to Voobly's servers in the multiplayer app. Is there any way to watch the game replay files offline? Is this something that anyone else is interested in?

Hello, uscbrummett.

You can watch recordings offline by going to your windows explorer and typing "Age of Empires II Expansion" or "Age of Empires II HD Edition" then click that to open it (offline) After that it will bring you to the main menu to select a recording.

- Now if you mean with mods/patches.
When opening the game it will ask you what patch you want. However as far as I know you can't select the mod offline. Maybe I am wrong and a fellow staff member can correct me.
