I think could be good idea if change some about days (and constance) of decay.

My idea is like:

Javi 2000 in x ladder.
After 7 days without play in that ladder, i will begin to lost each 24 hours 25 points.

About limit of decay should depend of activity in each ladder, for example: CBA/HERO down to 1800 and RCB to 1850, 1v1 ladder to 1700, bloods to 1700 and alternative to 1700.

This basically mean, more activity = more limit.

This is the best way for prevent players stop play and just play 1 game in 1 month for decay, or players get decay and keep in top of that ladder.

i'm in favor of decay but not in this aggressive way, this won't force people to play more to stay in top.. most of them may quit than tryhard.
the decay system used to be more aggressive than today and we did see what happened.
we have too many useless ladder already, so madness ladder should be erased

I agree, aggressive decaying doesn't help anyone (X points / day after a week is FAR too big - there could be legit reasons people aren't playing at that time, or might just be on holiday longer than 1 week). Maybe reduce it to a 2 week decay rather than 1 month would be my suggestion, and only on CBA/Hero as Mich stated.

Also isn't logic how players can stop play in few ladders and even keep in top 5, imo should down limit of decay to 1850 CBA/HERO/RCB and 1v1/Alternative/Bloods to 1700. Down all to 15 days decay and if player keep in decay instead each 2 week lost 25 points then change to each 1 week (Until that player play again)

CS lobby have too low activity for this right now, if we had like 400-500 ppl wouldn't affect as much. now i see why you want this, btw this doesn't affect you since you always low rated =v

I also think this would only work in like hero cba and maybe 1v1. Best players should be active and active players are supposed to be the best. Probs aint possible but in a old game I used to play there was a vacation mode where you arent displayed on the rankings when you go into it but you dont decay either. I also agree that ladders needs rework. Effort should be concentrated on the more the popular ones.
