This is your chance to give feedback. This is your moment. This is when you ask for what kind of events you want to see hosted. Troll if you want but do try to remember you chose not to engage for the benefit of your community when you inevitably complain about the state of CS in a few weeks.

Fair enough,
i think this tourney is a bit too ambitious for the current state of CS.
I think it would be a better choice to do some smaller scaled tourneys in easy but challenging maps to gradually lure old players back.

To be specific i'm thinking khans 1 v 1/ vetz 1 v 1 or 2 v 2/ Lustful 1 v 1 or 2 v 2, Smosh 2 v 2, Herofest hun or pers war 1 v 1. Gwars 1 v 1/2 v 2 is not easy but would be an interesting tourney as well.
Basically anything that's a bit refreshing and could appeal to a wide variety of players, preferably a map that's easy to learn so that new players would play ti as well.
And basically keep it far away from people like masta who are too politically driven in their function as mod.
Problem I have with this tournament and correct me if im wrong but from what I read you basically announce a certain map or set every week and you play every clan in that map/maps during 1 week? Most teams and people will be playing over the weekend only and if theres 6-8 clans that sign up which probably at most. Teams will play 6+ clans PER week in a 1v1/2v2/4v4 format?
alternative also needs some LOTR instead of dodgeball plz
lotr ladder have been working 21 since days ago and only had 14 matchs.. not even 1 per day, i dont think this map may deserve to be in a tourney plus is map played for a few players that dont cover a whole list of clans who may play it

They decided to put the ladder in during lotrs most inactive period in a long time... we had a good few months of several games per night atleast

If I had to guess, this tournament is for that purpose.

lol to be fair Sean, I asked you a few months ago about adding an LOTR Ladder and you said no need as we can play on Madness. And it's up to the LOTR community how active or inactive they want the ladder to be.
Also, if this tournament has a lot of sign ups, I might be inclined to donate.

It will work as follows, the league will cover all the weekends of February and the first weekend of March (that is, 03/02 to 03/03)
There are 5 weekends, 5 ladders, so each weekend will be played 1v1,2v2 and 4v4 of a ladder.
At the end of the first weekend (03/02) I will place the scoreboard at the end of the post, and I will update it every time the weekend finish.
And if you ask, how will we know which ladder plays every weekend? I will announce them on Friday 24 hours before the said ladder starts that weekend.
yes and so assume there are 8 clans which sign up.. the ladder for the week is 'CBA Hero' you will play up to 7 1v1/2v2/4v4 sets vs each clan all bo3's?
it is worth clarifying that AB was pure choice of the host of the tournament, a map little accepted by the known clans, map than may need to be replaced

If what you want to say is that if each clan has to play 3 bo3 (1v1 2v2 4v4) and assuming that 8 clans are registered, that would be 21 bo3 in total (7 for each clan) you are right.
In addition, they are a maximum of 8 players, so while 4 play 4v4, 2 can play 2v2 and 1 can play 1v1, all players will see how to manage their time in case they know that X player can not attend the next day.
Ideally, all games should be on Saturdays and on Sundays few games should be completed.

That says that the majority of players do not play it does not mean that Nobody plays it, I placed it because I know that there are players who are interested in the map and the ideal is to be balanced for everyone.

Scenarios: =V= Gwarz v6, =V= Smosh SF v5, =V= Radical Blood 8P v2, =V= War of Attrition v6, =V= Veteran Blood v7 and =V= Archers Bloods v5 and =V= Khans Bloods
=V= Gwarz v6.scx -> =V= Gwarz v7.scx
=V= Khans Blood v3.scx -> =V= Khans Blood v5.scx

Well said.

Obligatory attack, despite me saying or doing nothing recently.
