hi

i have problem opening the game online and offline, every time i click on AOE i get this message:

Could not initialize graphics system. Make sure that your video card and driver are compatible with DirectDraw.

I have windows 10 64 bit and i update my AMD radeon driver and i still get same message.
any help is appreciated

Seems like you are trying to render the game in 8bit mode. Please note that you will need 32 bit color mode in order to use your current display resolution. 8 bit modes will only support upto 1280 px which is what the game was originally designed for.

Please ensure that your game room settings are exactly like this:

You can verify this by hosting a game room in any lobby

thanks a lot sunny, that solved my online game, but it didn't solve my offline game, if I want to open game offline I get same message that I wrote above, any solution for offline game?
