You are going against the sole purpose of this committee and Taff's legacy. In the name of Flying Falafel what do you think are doing?

This shall not become a closed group of priviliged selected and appointed staff members. You are not the manager of Voobly Committee, nor is the person who infected you with this idea.

Doesn't that mean that all current members automatically become VCT members, and therefore receive the staff level?

As an establishing member of this group, we had a good run but the game is over.

Better question is, what will become of all the members who did not pass through the "staff" application form, including me?

Just it will be as usual with three of us keeping the vcom alive for next 10 years or so.
New staffs will come and go enjoying their free premium ...

It is not about being VCT, it is about having people come and go whenever they please, not everyone want to nor should go through the process of applying to staff. Currently as I see it, you will need to become a member of staff in order to run events or contribute, in other words you need to qualify for someone's foolish standards in order to help the community. And who knows when the next "enrollment" will be opened and how often.
This is why I said -

Edit: And who is the priviliged person/group deciding who gets in and who does not. To me it looks like the members of VCOM no longer control who is welcome and who is not, but someone entirely else.

May be keeping a separate rank of committee memebers opened for all will be good !!!

After the demotion of taff vcom is vulnerable to be taken over nhoobish and we can't change it but it's not that bad also !!!

Yea I'm tempted to step down in protest. Theres zero point trying to do something to help if the administration (above you michy ) are actively ****ing us around.

It is you who fails to understand. You are dealing with a fundamentally civilian organisation. The staff encroachment renders the role of this group null and void. There is no committee anymore. There is no point to this and it might as well be removed and tournaments integrated back into the main boards as they were before.

The community trumps your power fantasies.
