Imo TIW is an tournament which consists different variety of maps to compete in but cba\hero\rcb\ etc are the ever green maps of cs lobby and is played by 90% of cs lobby players and this cant be ignored. Only fair way according to me is 50-50 which noobish mentioned before...( i also dont enjoy some noobs vetoing my best map and force me to play some **** blood map).. +1 noobhish

Will you **** off already? You've only posted some negative **** since the start of the thread... You thought last TIW you could be in the top of it and you got a sad reality check that not only you but the guys you team with are way below the majority of CS players skillwise.

I already said earlier if you & Fast car want to keep talking and put your money where your mouth is... pick the 3 'most played cb maps' and pick them all vs us we wont veto them against you and wont pick maps vs you that your clan wont know either. As Eot did last TIW we dont plan to pick a map like Europe vs clans who dont have europe players (hypothetically if it gets voted in again which is likely)

Imo should be fully CB, maybe add some Europe in too, no one play other noobs bloods maps ****s.

Guys alot of the posts arent helpful but i have most certainly taken on board alot of what as been said and theres diffently some interesting ideas. I think its fair to say that the main concern on the thread is on people wanting more cbs included and while i take the point its the biggest variant on cs its also important to note that the tournament is about promoting a diversity and a variety of maps.

I would also be against forcing people to vote for maps and pick maps they dont want included, thats more in reference to forcing people to vote for and play 1 blood, 1 altern, 1 cb.

So heres what im proposing as compromises:

1. When voting for the maps a clan can vote twice for the same map to give it a bigger chance of being voted for. The democratic vote is still the best and fairest way. 5 votes for 1v1, 5 votes for 2v2, 10 votes for 3v3/4v4

2. Each clan is allowed if they wish to use one CB immunity pick that cant be vetoed.

3. As usual you cant pick the same map for different sections unless its been vetoed and map choices may change as a result of vetos. Naturally this only applies if a map is voted for in multiple sections

Why not just give each clan a home map immunity opposed to a CB immunity. It's not a CB tournament, and has never been a CB tournament. Get Primez and his crybaby crew to host a CB based tournament, or someone with some credibility in that community like Savas if they genuinely want one. I don't get why we need to cater to these noob level clans when the top clans played all the maps regardless, and still gave the noob clans an immunity home pick last season.

Being a one-two map wonder clan does not make you a top clan. Eot_ and 7th are undeniably the two best clans of the last few years, because they can field a team in anything to a competitive level beyond, and disjointed teams like XceL and ViCiouS have wrecked the rest of the CS clans in TIW which is an emphatic statement as to the overall quality of the other clans in CS.

You can make it 70% CB and 30% Alt/Bloods, Eot_ and 7th will still destroy you all.
