You are right. I participated one schedule n play tourney, and its doesn't feel like tourney, have to keep message the opponent and he reply" later( dead line) or " do you think I have no other work than playing ? " and feel dumb.

Instead of Nations, you can go with bigger regions, as in teams of Europe in one group, teams of Asia in another group, same with North America, South America, Africa, Australia&Oceania.
