I get a black screen when i launch aom TT on voobly. A blue loading circle also comes up. I never get to the menu, i get a black screen before the game even loads. Out of voobly, when I try to launch AomTT/ gold nothing happens. The CD's are new and clean. I have a windows 10 pc.
These are the things ive already tried:
-Reinstalling both games many times
-Reinstalling voobly
-Running on administrator, and on all compatibility options.
-Making sure direct play is running from windows features.
-Graphics card is good, i play other games that requires a better graphics card on same computer.
-Made sure the directX acceleration(?) box is unticked as suggested by a live mod.
-DirectX must not be an issue since i play many other games on here

-Windows 10 is fully updated

Hi pikkon,

Do this method and see how it works:

1. Firstly, open your Age of Mythology folder (typically C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Games\Age of Mythology) and navigate to the gfxconfig2 folder (which is AoMTT graphics folder).
2. Next that inside find the i845.gfx file and rename it to i845.gfx.old.
3. Finally again find the another file called geforce3.gfx, copy and paste it into the same folder and, rename the new copy of geforce3.gfx file to i845.gfx and now try the game again.
