Rules
Dropping and Lag Rules
If a player disconnects, the game will be resumed.
If the game cannot be resumed we will try to view the recorded game. If one player/team was going to win without any doubt they will be awarded the win. If there was no obvious winner then the game will be replayed with the exact same settings.
If the same player constantly disconnects, they/their team will forfeit and the other player/team will progress to the next round. The exception to this rule is if the tournament has not progressed past the first round. A replacement can then be added to the offending team.
If a player is causing unplayable lag and can clearly be proven as the sole cause of the lag then that player may be disqualified.
Pausing Rules
Each team/player can pause once in game for a total of 5 minutes. Other players are not allowed to unpause until they are sure that that everyone has returned. Any player who has paused for longer than this period, without the permission of the other player/team, will be asked to unpause or an admin win will be granted to the other player/team. Players who repeatedly unpause before the 5 minutes is up will cause an admin win to be granted to the other player/team. A pause will be allowed to exceed 5 minutes if the player if communicating with a tournament organizer.
Language Rules
Discrimination in any form is not tolerated. A violation of this rule can result in disqualification. Keep in mind that there are official rules related to this concern.
Simple trash talk is allowed since it has always been part of competitive activities such as sports or games. Keeping it to a minimum would be nice though.
VCOM Host Rulings
Any and all rules may be changed by the tournament organizers on or before the night. All rulings by the official VCOM tournament organizers are final.
this is great for CS. kudos to you for throwing this event. maybe some ViCiouS players will come out of the woodwork to take that first place prize money from you guys.
No having three will make two teams of six and we can have 3 teams. And euro has not that much pop so cant be that way.

How do you define unplayable lag?
Plenty of people complain that australian lag is bad, but it's certainly playable for me
Need correction to this rule as this was meant for CS mostly.. And also lag issues are hard to moderate. So will be making a detailed discussion over how to complain for a lag.
i meant 3 players in the team, but only 2 play in each game.
eg. IOC has teams of 4-6 players for a 3v3 tournament, so there are less AWs
Any explanation on how the map works. ie are players set colours (team 1 blue+red, team 2 green+yellow)?
What decides which player spawns where? is host always in one spot, or is it decided by colour?
Regarding that 3 player thing , it cant be done as there can be mess up on taking the awards . As 50/100 $ divided by 3 will become less. Regarding the Map : Color should be 1234 and its random spawn on a map from fixed eight locations. That is you will be getting one out of those fixed locations. You can download and check out the map for the locations .
no idea why hes talking about 8 locations when the tournament is using the 6p map but let me give you a quick explanations of the locations
uk - one of the two locations that you can consider a island but still is connected to the main land by shallows
it has two location that you can land on and is very limited in build space if you end up losing sea
france - has about 4 ways to enter the base and multiple landing spots but has more room to expand and very tight pathways out of the base
spain - the biggest area to build on and has 3 spots to land on and multiple pathways into the base which makes it harder to defend then other bases
africa - the second island that has two crossing but narrow building space which makes it harder to build if lost sea but is filled with resources
italy - one of the two locations that is closest to a different location(greece) with multiple ways to enter and landing spots but a lot of building space if needed
greece - same as italy but has more safe building spots compared to italy and is one of the easiest spots to boom
